1. Acknowledgment of Risk I, the undersigned participant, fully understand and acknowledge that
mountain biking and enduro MTB are high-risk sports involving the possibility of serious injury, permanent
disability, or death. I am aware that riding on natural trails, bike parks, forest roads, and alpine terrain
includes inherent hazards such as rocks, roots, drops, steep gradients, unpredictable weather, wildlife, and
technical obstacles.
I participate voluntarily and entirely at my own risk.

2. No Professional Guiding – Experienced Riders Only I understand that the organizers (“the Guides”)
are not certified instructors or licensed mountain guides. They are experienced riders with backgrounds in
racing, coaching, P.E. lecturing, and bike mechanics, combining many years of riding and local trail
knowledge. They will act with care, share their experience, and support group safety, but do not provide
professional guiding services.

3. Participant Responsibility & Trail Risk Assessment I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for
assessing the difficulty, safety, and suitability of each trail, feature, or section during the event. This includes
performing my own trail risk assessment, evaluating my skills, equipment, physical condition, and deciding
whether to ride, walk, or skip any part of the route.
The Guides may offer suggestions, but the final decision to ride is always mine.

4. Equipment & Personal Insurance I confirm that:
• My bicycle and protective equipment are in safe, functional condition.
• I am physically capable of participating in enduro MTB activities.
• I understand that no special insurance is provided by the organizers, and I am responsible for my
own accident, health, and liability insurance.

5. Waiver of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by Swiss law, I hereby waive, release, and discharge
the Guides, organizers, volunteers, and any associated persons from any and all claims, demands, or
liability for injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation in the event, including those caused by
negligence (except gross negligence or intentional misconduct as defined by Swiss law).
I agree that I will not pursue legal claims, compensation, or damages against the Guides in the event of an
accident.

6. Personal Conduct I agree to ride responsibly, follow instructions related to group safety, respect nature,
and comply with local regulations and land-use rules.

7. Acceptance By signing this document, I confirm that I have read and understood the above terms, that
all risks have been explained to me, and that I accept full personal responsibility for my participation.
